The 50 Plussers is a group of like-minded people aged 50+ that get together Monday mornings from 9am and for much conversation and all sorts of games and socializing together with coffees. This is followed by a hot lunch at 12 noon to finish the morning at about 1:00pm.

Billiards group

The Billiards group play on our Dutch billiards tables (Carom Billiards) or eight ball tables on Monday and Wednesday mornings from 9am to noon.

Klaverjas Cards group

The Klaverjas Cards group are an enthusiastic bunch meeting from 7pm Tuesday evenings to play a 'Dutch' card game, easy to learn and quite addictive. It helps to keep every body’s mind sharp in the hope of winning. The klaverjas competition starts at 7.45pm after players have sampled wares from the kitchen.

New year's dive

Started in 2010 on request, we organised a New Years Dive. Traditionally this happens in the Netherlands at 12pm (lunch time) on the 1st of January where thousands of swimmers dive into the sea to welcome the new year (and perhaps to get rid of the hangover).
Offcourse our climate is much friendlier and instead of post dive Erwtesoep, we have a couple of drinks and nibbles on the beach.
